Sonal & King / Oshwal Centre, Potters Bar

Man, what a day this was! A true feast for the eyes and my cameras; my first Hindu wedding, and I absolutely loved it!

Sonal and King had two ceremonies: A hindu ceremony at the Oshwal Centre, Potters Bar, and then a civil ceremony at the Shenley Cricket Centre, later in the day. Two times the ceremony also meant two times the prep, which is great for me, as it’s always one of my favourite parts of the day to capture.

As it was my first time as a documentary hindu wedding photographer, I was really excited as to what the day held in store, and I really wasn’t disappointed. So much colour, so much vibrancy and life…so much joy. And, wow, I have to admit – what amazing food! The best I’ve ever had at a wedding 🙂

Though it was my first taste (can’t get food connotations out of my head now!) of Indian wedding photography, I still captured and approach the day the same way – totally unposed and natural. I know I’ve said it before, but it’s just what I love: No asking people to look at the camera, no getting people to repeat things, just 100% capturing the day as it unfolds.

Anyways, enough of me; here’s a selection of Sonal & King’s Oshwal Centre and Shenley Cricket Club wedding photography:
