I’m thrilled and honoured today, as the fab news came through that I’d made it into the Finals of the Westcountry Wedding Awards 2013 in the ‘Reportage Wedding Photographer of The Year’ category.
The awards are the longest running wedding awards in England, and cover the whole of Cornwall and Devon. It’s so exciting to have made the final; fingers crossed for the awards ceremony on February 28th!
To get to the final stage, past brides and grooms voted, scoring each wedding vendor out of 5 in categories such as Service, Quality, Value For Money, and Commitment to your Wedding – so I’m incredibly thankful to all my past clients who took the time to vote for me, and who must have rated me very kindly – thank you!
For the next stage, a group of judges assess my photography, website, mission statement and comments made by my brides and grooms; I’ll find out if I get any further at the awards ceremony on Feb 28th – but even if I don’t win or get runner-up, I’m just so happy and honoured to have made the finals – thanks so much to all my lovely past brides and grooms who voted for me!
And lots of things crossed for the awards night….
