Amy and Dan’s wedding at Pendennis Castle took place in early February, and was my first wedding of 2013 – and what a way to begin!
I began my coverage by capturing Dan and his groomsmen having a morning dip in the sea – some of them even without wetsuits, so much hardier than me! I then went over to The Falmouth Hotel for Amy’s bridal preparations, and it was a very relaxed, chilled time, even including a floor picnic to keep the girls’ strengths up.
It was my fourth time at Pendennis Castle; it’s such a grand and dramatic venue to have your wedding. We were also very lucky with the weather; although windy and brisk, it stayed dry all day, and we had some beauitiful light.
Amy walked down the aisle to a song she had written herself; one very talented bride!
Anyway, enough of my chatter; on to a selection of photos from their day. Ooh, and keep an eye out for a few cameos from another photographer: Amy’s Uncle Roger, a very keen camera enthusiast!
Hey Alan, digged the ‘above’ shots when the brides were getting ready. The black and white has such a timeless effect, great stuff 🙂
Thanks a lot, Brad, they’re some of my favourites too!
