“They are amazing, thank you so much. We can’t recommend you highly enough. We had high expectations of you but you surpassed them!” – Sarah & Loona
The wedding season is starting to ease a little now, so I’m finally having a little more time to blog some of the fab weddings I’ve covered this year! Today it’s all about Sarah and Loona, who had a really personal do at Paul Church, with a party at a beautiful private house called Carn Du in Mousehole.
Their wedding was really up my street; I love it when couples just do things their own way – celebrating just how they want to do it. By hiring the magnificent Carn Du – a private house that doesn’t normally host weddings – they didn’t have any rules or constrictions on what they could do. Very refreshing! Sarah used to plan weddings professionally, actually, so I’m sure the thought of a blank canvas especially appealed.
They lucked out with the weather; this could have been somewhere in Corsica rather than Cornwall!
But, hey, you don’t need me to talk more about it, as there’s quite a few of their Paul Church wedding photos to look at below….
Beautiful work mate. Looks like a gorgeous day and all of that glorious sunlight couldn’t have been easy to work with either, top stuff.
Thanks a lot, man, means a lot from you! 🙂
That spotlit kiss in the church did it for me – simply lovely. And yes, it could be anywhere in the Mediterranean. Looks like it was a cracking good day.
Really appreciated, Martin; means a lot – cheers!
Gorgeous wedding coverage Alan – yes the location is amazing and beautiful weather but great skills to work with the harsh light and lots of great observations throughout the day. Reaaly nice work!
Thank a lot, Alexis; very kind!
Beautiful documentary work Alan. A great opening and wonderful setting – what better way for a groom to start the day chilling out on the beach! Love it!!
Thanks a lot, Linus!
Really lovely job Alan, the story of the day is so very prominent and there are some great documentary moments. Bravo!
Thanks a lot, Dominique, means a lot! 🙂
Really strong documentary work here Alan – thoroughly enjoyed looking through these images! Really like your framing throughout the prep shots – great work.
That’s so appreciated, Alex, thanks loads!
That light! You can see why so many artists call Cornwall their spiritual home. I just love this set. Every single shot is amazing.
Thanks so much, Laura – very kind! 🙂
Fabulous and creative as usual Mr Law 🙂
Thanking you, Mr. Biffen; means a lot, cheers!
Beautiful work Alan! It may be an unusual choice but the third last image I revisited like 4 times! You have a very unique artists eye!
That’s very kind, Shahed; thanks a lot!
Lovely coverage – great use of light throughout!
Really kind, Martin, thank you!
