What can I say about Fiona and Dan’s wedding in the South of France? It was such a fun party from morning to night – a really great bunch of people all just kicking back and celebrating this lovely couple’s big day. I wish I could say that we had the glorious French sun all day long, but alas that just wasn’t the case – in fact, the only dry parts of the day were before the ceremony, and for about 40 mins in the early evening – all the other time was rain, rain and more rain. It started to pour right in the middle of their outside ceremony actually, so this wedding remains the only one where we’ve had to pick up sticks and relocate during ‘I do’!
But, as I always say, the weather just doesn’t matter one little bit; it’s not a photo shoot, it’s one of the most special days of your life, and a bit (or a lot) of wet can’t dampen that. I hope you’ll see from the following selection of photographs that Fiona and Dan definitely didn’t let it spoil anything; in fact, the rain mid-ceremony just added to the romance of it all!
So, enough of the writing, and on to some photos from Fiona & Dan’s destination wedding in France…

Oh, and you really can’t tell that it rained even at all, let alone all day.
