I started the day covering both Johnny’s and Natasha’s prep, as they were both staying in the house, before heading over to their ceremony at St John’s Catholic Church in Banbury. After a bit of a rain-drenched journey back to Aynhoe, the rest of the evening was spent in the unique house – with some of my favourite images coming from their first dance, and their friends letting loose on the dancefloor!
It was my first time as a wedding photographer at Aynhoe Park, and I loved it; as always, though, this is all down to the people, a proper relaxed, fun bunch of folk, that I enjoyed spending time with (and capturing the odd image of, too, of course (or 800-odd!). The videographer for their wedding was the awesome Ben Foster of Fosterfilming.com, too, which is always a bonus – a very lovely guy, talented chappy, and someone I wholeheartedly recommend.

Wow Alan, you just totally debunked the myth of “have you shot at my venue before?” Each and every image in this set is a piece of art… it’s crazy just how good these are. Packed full of emotion, technically great but most importantly for me: engaging. I was drawn into these pictures and became immersed in them for just a few minutes. Bet the couple are over the moon with these! I tip my hat to you Alan.
Paul is bang on the money! This is stunning work – some of your finest, no doubt! Totally captivating and almost makes me feel as though I was there. Kudos!
Alan this is so beautiful beyond any words. I just loved all the images in this set. They are all so incredible, they narrate the whole day in such a transparent, genuine way and make me feel I was there too. The feelings are so vivid. So apparent. It’s crystal clear the love you have for the art and anyone that picks you to capture the day will be forever rewarded with a gift of timeless memories. They are lucky. That shot of the mother of the bride (?) arranging the flower in front of the mirror while her silhouette and the details of dress are out of focus is absolutely jaw dropping. And I just love the bridesmaids dresses too, this girl is a bit in love! 🙂
