One Shot Preview: Ale & Adam / Kew Gardens, London

Oh it was such a pleasure to be shooting again! For very obvious reasons, 2020 really has been the very worst year to be in the wedding industry, with virtually all of my weddings being postponed to 2021. Obviously this is awful and so stressful for the couples involved, and it is also hard on wedding photographers (and, indeed, any wedding supplier) throughout the world. I, for instance, would normally have shot around 25 weddings by this time on a ‘normal year’, but my wedding a couple of days ago was just my 2nd – and penultimate! – wedding of 2020…!

But, enough of the negatives: It was absolutely brilliant to be shooting again, and for the wonderful duo that is Ale & Adam. They were supposed to have their wedding at Kew Gardens this year, but have postponed the big event until 2021 – but they couldn’t wait to get married, so they tied the knot at Marleybone Town Hall, and then had a shoot around the fabulous Kew Gardens – complete in wonderful Kimono attire.

I had a great time with them capturing their intimate wedding ceremony, and then walking around the beautiful Kew (an hour before the general public were allowed in; bonus!) – here’s a little preview shot of them by the Palm House and lake. Looking forward to being their Kew Gardens wedding photographer again next year, too!
