Westminster College Wedding, Cambridge / Audrey & Andrew

Audrey & Andrew’s Wedding at St Andrew the Great & Westminster College, Cambridge

Audrey and Andrew’s wedding was one of those days that felt beautifully true to them from beginning to end.

Held at St Andrew the Great in the heart of Cambridge, followed by celebrations at Westminster College, it was a day filled with family, laughter, tradition, and countless real moments. There was no sense of rushing from one photo opportunity to the next; instead, the day unfolded naturally, allowing genuine moments to happen and be remembered.

As a wedding photographer at St Andrew the Great, one of the things I love about the church is its location right in the centre of Cambridge. It provides a wonderful setting for a wedding ceremony, while still feeling intimate and personal despite being surrounded by one of the UK’s most famous cities.

After the ceremony, guests made their way to Westminster College for the reception. Westminster College offers a fantastic mix of beautiful architecture, spacious grounds, and a relaxed atmosphere that gives guests plenty of room to enjoy themselves. As a wedding photographer at Westminster College, what stands out to me is how naturally the venue allows moments to happen. People spread out, conversations develop, children explore, and the day takes on a life of its own.

Audrey and Andrew incorporated several meaningful traditions throughout their wedding day, including an intimate tea ceremony and a lively Yam Seng toast. If you’ve never experienced a Yam Seng before, it’s a wedding toast that becomes louder and longer with each round, creating plenty of laughter and anticipation among guests. It was one of many moments that brought people together and made the day feel uniquely theirs.

One of the joys of being a wedding photographer in Cambridge is the variety each wedding brings. On this particular day there was punting, tea and cakes, emotional family interactions, and countless small moments that might easily have gone unnoticed. Those fleeting interactions are often the moments that mean the most years later.

The photographs below are twenty completely natural, unposed moments from Audrey and Andrew’s wedding day. Nothing directed, nothing staged – simply real memories from a wonderful celebration at St Andrew the Great and Westminster College in Cambridge.
