Looking Back at 2012: The Ceremony

Following on from my selection of 2012 favourites from the bridal and groom preparations, here are my picks of last year’s ceremonies.

The exchanging of vows is of course the ‘main event’ of the wedding day, so to speak, and I’m incredibly lucky to be able to capture this most special of moments – it’s a true honour. 2012 saw me capture ‘I do’s at venues such as Mylor Church, Church of St Hydroc, Pendennis Castle, Feock Church, The Priory Church in Dorset (which has the longest aisle I’ve ever seen!), The St Ives Harbour Hotel, Tregenna Castle, Cornish Tipi Weddings, The Royal Duchy Hotel, Crasken Farm, The Polurian Hotel, Polhawn Fort, Mullion Church, The Scarlet Hotel, The Boardroom @ Blue Bar, Helston Registry Office, St James The Great Church, Fentafriddle, St Michael’s Church, Lusty Glaze Beach, St Agnes Church, and The Rosevine.

I covered weddings with hundreds of guests, to one wedding with no guests at all (a New Year’s Eve elopment; how romantic!), and loved each and every one. Anyway, enough of me, on to a selection of my favourite ceremony captures from 2012:

The next part of my 2012 highlights is now up on the site, ‘Couples and Cocktails’. (And if you’d like to see some of my favourite shots from the ‘Getting Ready’ time, just head over here…)
