I’m catching up with blogging some of my weddings from last year, folks – and today I’m really looking forward to sharing Kelly & Marc’s wedding at St Michael’s Church in Rock. These two originate from my neck of the woods – the Midlands – and even though Marc is an Aston Villa fan, I didn’t hold that against him during the day…!
What can I say about their wedding? The weather was beautiful, as you can see below, and the air was always full of friendly brummie voices, which I love! There were many highlights, but the speeches probably brought about some of my fondest memories: Kelly’s Dad’s revelations that his daughter was named after an adult magazine star was particularly amusing (!), and his videos of Kelly as a young girl growing up got me pretty emotional…
The view from their marquee on Porthilly Farm was spectacular; a very scenic venue to have your reception. Overall it was an incredibly relaxed, friendly and fun wedding; Kelly and Marc are so lovely, and just made me feel like part of the family rather than the wedding photographer – a cliche, maybe, but very true nevertheless.
Kelly sent me an incredibly kind email after receiving her photos, which you can read in full over here, but my favourite line was probably ‘you’ve boosted our hearts with the memories you’ve captured for us!’.
Enough of the talk, on to the photographs!
awsome pics 🙂 great style and post production as ever 🙂
Thanks a lot, Andy!
