Every wedding I cover is obviously special, but Beccy and James’ had a little extra ingredient to make it stand out, as they were having their reception at the same place I got married at, Trelissick House. It was quite surreal to be back there, but this time at the other end of the camera!
Their ceremony was at the very pretty Feock Church, just a small walk away from Beccy’s family home where she got ready in the morning. A very relaxed atmosphere greeted me – which is always good, but never really expected! – and the only tears that flowed were when Beccy’s mum gave her a letter she’d written the night before; a very personal moment between Mother and Daughter.
The reception at Trelissick House was just fantastic – as well as being so personal for me, it’s just a special venue, with amazing sea views and lush fields abound.
Anyways, I’m quite hopeless at chatting about weddings – it’s much easier if I let the images do the talking! So, without further ado, here are a selection of their wedding photos:
Great story telling Alan – love the shot of the young flower girl looking at the bride during her prep and the couple over looking the bay. Top stuff!
Really kind, Linus; thank you!
