I know that Mike has already written to you, but I also wanted to send a message to say thank you for the photos. I find it difficult to express just how much of a difference you made to the whole process. I have always HATED having my photograph taken and, frankly, have always looked terrible in pretty much every one ever taken. (This is not false modesty… my friends, and Mike, would confirm the same!) This has meant that, rather than daydreaming about my perfect wedding, I have just tended to dread the prospect of having so many cameras around.
You turned all of that completely on its head. By taking photos in the way you do – candid and natural, rather than posed – I was able to just relax and stop thinking about it. As a result I absolutely adore the pictures! Kate and I went through them all last night, and she exclaimed that I “got married and suddenly became photogenic”! I can’t thank you enough for capturing memories which will make me smile, rather than cringe, for the rest of my life. You have an incredible skill and I am so thankful that we found you.
Everyone I’ve spoken to has commented on how lovely and friendly you were, and how you managed to be absolutely everywhere without encroaching at all. You’ve been nicknamed the ‘photographic ninja’ in reference to your ability to be everywhere at once! I can’t imagine having anyone nicer to work with and it was such a pleasure to have you to share the day with us.
My only complaint is that I have absolutely no way of knowing how to choose which photos we’re going to have framed! I think we’re going to have to put new ones up each month so that we can see them all!
