VIDEO: Behind The Frame: Bride & Mum

After last week’s video where I talked about one of my favourite couple shots of the year, I thought today I’d talk about one of my favourite moments of the year – and this laugh and embrace between the lovely bride, Aislinn, and her mother. As well as talking about how I got this specific shot, I also go into why I use two camera bodies at the same time, my absolute love of capturing moments, and a bit of a tip on speech coverage in general (which is one of my fave parts of the day to capture, actually).

Techie bit: Canon 5D Mark 3, 85mm, f/2.2, 1/160 sec, ISO 640.

As before, I’d love to hear your thoughts on the vid, and if you have any suggestions on what you’d like me to talk about next. Just leave me a comment below, or perhaps over on my Facebook page.

And if you’re interested in attending one of my workshops, my last ones of the year are currently sold out, but you can go on the mailing list at the bottom of this page to be the first to know when I announce any new dates. Or head over here for 1:1 training info.

That’s an image that captures a moment in time and the relationship between the two subjects. The hand on the shoulder and the laughter and smiles make it very special.
