Cornwall Weddings
Cornwall is home for me, so I’ve probably spent more time photographing weddings here than anywhere else.
Over the years, weddings have taken me all over the county – from clifftop celebrations at Polhawn Fort and beach weddings at Lusty Glaze to village churches, marquee weddings in farmers’ fields and everything in between. One of the things I love most about Cornwall weddings is that no two ever seem quite the same.
The scenery helps, of course. Cornwall isn’t exactly short on beautiful backdrops. But while the coastline, beaches and countryside are wonderful, they’ve never really been the thing that interests me most.
The weddings below aren’t about landscapes; they’re about people.
Parents trying not to cry during speeches. Children creating chaos when everyone else is trying to be serious. Friends who haven’t seen each other for years. Grandparents dancing. Someone accidentally spilling a drink at exactly the wrong moment. All the little things that couples often don’t see themselves until they get their photographs back afterwards.
These are real Cornwall weddings, photographed exactly as they happened. No posing, no staging and no interruptions. Just genuine moments and honest stories from weddings across the county.
